Exobiology & Astrobiology target basic questions about how space conditions affect biological processes. Exobiology will probe deep into underlying mechanisms behind the adaptations of different organisms to space flights, respond to altered gravity and radiation, regulate and sustain their growth, metabolism, reproduction, and development. "Astrobiology" also called “Bioastronomy,” is a multidisciplinary field dealing with nature, existence, and search for extraterrestrial life. Astrobiologists try to research on the origin, evolution, distribution, and future of life on Earth; they also seek for any signature of life elsewhere in the universe. This scientific field addresses the question of whether life exists beyond our planet and how humans can detect it. Astrobiology makes use of astronomy, physics, chemistry, cell and molecular biology, evolutionary biology, genetics, ecology, planetary sciences, geology, and other related fields to investigate the possibility of life on the other worlds.
